Mummy tummy treatment results and at home skin care tips

It’s been great to get to know my regular patients better and meet and treat my new patients. Thank you to all of you for choosing Optimise Aesthetics.

My favourite treatments this year have been:

Treating the tired under eye area with Nucleofill Soft Eyes and seeing the progressive results with this great product that doesn’t produce the puffiness in the under eye area that fillers can.

Treating the loss of elasticity and ‘Mummy tummy’ with Profhilo that so many of us suffer from post pregnancy. See the before and after images below following just two x 2ml Profhilo treatments. The usual recommendation is two x 4ml treatments but due to patient concerns over whether it would make a difference we went for a conservative approach and look at these results with half of the recommended amount!

With just a few weeks to go before the Christmas and New Year period there are some key AlumierMD products you can add to your skin routine to get the skin glowing and fresh in time for the Christmas holidays and parties:

  1. Retinol serum at night (start low percentage alternate nights eg. 0.25% and work your way up slowly!)
  2. Vitamin C serum (preferably 15%) in the morning (AlumierMD’s EverActive Peptide)
  3. Some chemical OR physical exfoliation once to twice a week in the form of Alumier MD’s AHA serum OR MicroDerm Polish
  4. At home chemical peels (AlumierMD’s enzymatic peel) – do one before Christmas and this will really get you glowing.
  5. Get on the eye creams…for example.. alternating Retinol eye gel with AluminEye at night and AluminEye in the morning. AluminEye is more moisturising for the fine crepey skin of the upper and lower lids and retinol eye gel promotes collagen production at the level of the dermis.
