Fine Lines and Wrinkles Treatment, Surrey
What treatments are there for fines lines and wrinkles?
Fine lines and wrinkles can develop anywhere on the face.
They develop due to a loss of elasticity and collagen in the skin with time and they tend to be more obvious when we move our facial muscles for example when we talk, eat, smile and frown.
Dermal fillers
Fine lines and wrinkles can be treated with a very fine elastic form of dermal filler known as a skin booster. Following application of a topical local anaesthetic cream the skin booster is injected very superficially into the dermis of the skin to smooth out these lines.
Results are for dermal fillers are visible immediately and last between three to six months.
Microneedling
Another effective way to treat fine lines and wrinkles is using a course of Skin Pen microneedling to stimulate collagen production in the dermis and hence reduce the appearance of the lines and wrinkles. Skin Pen microneedling is a full face treatment, so has the added benefit of producing a refreshed, rejuvenated and more youthful appearance to the skin.
Results for microneedling start to become visible after the first treatment and build up slowly with maximum results following three to six treatments.
For both dermal fillers and microneedling, I use only FDA-approved treatments.
