Meet the Founder
Dr Louise Bye is the founder and Medical Director of Optimise Aesthetics. Dr Bye qualified as a doctor from Guy’s Kings and St Thomas’s hospital in 2005 with Distinctions in Basic Medical Science, Clinical Medicine and Clinical Research.
She is a qualified GP (MRCGP), eye surgeon (MRCOphth) and aesthetics doctor (Level 7 Diploma Aesthetics). Dr Bye works both as a GP with an interest in eyes and as an aesthetics and wellness doctor.
Dr Bye has undergone extensive cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic training with Harley Street Specialists at the Harley Academy in London, gaining a Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetics. She has also completed additional training in the field of medical management of obesity and is a certified partner of the National Medical Weight Loss Programme.
Dr Bye is a full member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGPs) and is registered and regulated by both the General Medical Council (GMC) and the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP).
She really enjoys attending National Aesthetic and Medical Longevity Conferences including CCR, ACE and The Menopause in Aesthetics Conferences. This keeps her services at the forefront of new developments in this rapidly advancing field of medicine.
Dr Bye values good communication skills, a holistic approach to aesthetics with a focus on optimising wellness, meticulous attention to detail and a gentle light touch during procedures. It is these qualities that led her to become interested in skin health, aesthetics, non-surgical cosmetic treatments and wellness.
She believes that by focusing on optimising your general and skin health you can gain fantastic safe natural looking results and rejuvenation. Her goal is to help you look and feel your best.
The Wellness Team
To help provide a holistic approach to your care Dr Bye works alongside a personal trainer and fitness coach and a nutritionist. Following your initial consultation, Dr Bye will put together a treatment plan. If you are interested in having a more holistic approach to your goals Dr Bye can refer you on to members of the Wellness Team. They work together with you in helping you achieve your aesthetic, skin and wellness goals.
A Relaxing Clinical Environment
Our Care Quality Commission (CQC) Registered clinic is designed to make you feel relaxed and comfortable whilst having your treatment in a safe clinical environment. It allows for a relaxed and private patient journey with readily available free parking at the front of the clinic. Dr Bye also practises with a team of reception staff and nurses at Mount Alvernia Hospital, where she can offer some injectable treatments for medical reasons only.
