Polynucleotides in Guildford, Surrey

What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are not a type of filler, they are a stimulator. They stimulate collagen production and fibroblast activity, improve elasticity and reduce inflammation. They are a very versatile option for overall skin rejuvenation.

Their original use was in the delicate eye area as an alternative to fillers due to their reduced side effect profile.  The results in many patients were reduction of dark circles, reduced puffiness, tightening of the lids and a reduction in the fine lines around the eye. The use of polynucleotides has massively expanded since then due to their versatility and the results they achieve.

I use only FDA-approved brands, including Plinest, Plenhyage XL, Nucleadyn and Nucleofill to allow for maximum safety and natural results.

The results are not instant but improvement can be noted from about three weeks and continues to improve over a twelve week period.

Polynucleotides are commonly used to treat:

  • Dull or course skin
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation or uneven skin tone
  • Redness
  • Dark circles
  • Acne scarring
  • Stretch marks
  • Surgical scarring
  • Hair loss

Polynucleotides are not just suitable for the face – they are an effective treatment option for any part of the body.

Polynucleotides can now also be combined with fillers as a hybrid product to boost filler results. At Optimise Aesthetics, if we think that this will be the best option for you, we will recommend a hybrid treatment, and will ultimately do whatever you feel most comfortable with.
